Privacy

The short version

This is a marketing website. There is no login, no account and no form — if you get in touch, it is because you chose to message us on WhatsApp or email us. We measure how the site is used so we can make it better, and you can switch that off below.

What we measure

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand which parts of the site are useful. Between them they record which pages you visited, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device you used, how far down a page you scrolled, and which links you clicked. Clarity also records an anonymised replay of the page as you moved through it.

We do not know who you are from this. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you anywhere else.

Recognising you on a return visit

On your first visit your browser stores a random ID — a string of letters and numbers, generated on the spot. It is not your name, your email or your device: it is a label with nothing attached to it. It lets us see that someone came back and read a page a second time, rather than counting them as two strangers.

It stays in your browser on this device. Clearing your browser data removes it, opening the site on another device creates a different one, and turning analytics off below deletes it.

If you message us

Our WhatsApp links open your own WhatsApp with a message already typed in. That message includes a short tag telling us which page and which campaign you came from, and the random ID described above — it is how we know what is working, and how we can see what you'd been reading before you got in touch. You can delete the tag before sending; nothing breaks.

Once you send it, that ID is linked to your phone number, so from that point it is personal information rather than an anonymous label. We use it to understand how people find us and what they read before reaching out — nothing else — and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Once you send it, the conversation is a normal WhatsApp chat covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We keep what you tell us only for as long as we are talking about working together.

Guest data

Nothing about your guests is collected by this website. AI Shaadi's guest-operations product handles guest information only under a signed agreement with the planner or host who engages us, and it is kept separately from anything here.

Turning analytics off

This switch is stored in your browser on this device. It takes effect immediately and does not need a page reload.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email aryan@zapprlabs.com and we will answer.
