Yes, and it is the reason this exists. Welcome Dinner, Mehendi, Sangeet, Ceremony, Reception are separate counts, because the family that comes for the Welcome Dinner is not the family that comes for the Ceremony. One number across the whole celebration is what leaves the caterer guessing.
Who actually chases the guests who do not reply?
The system does, and it keeps doing it until there is an answer — yes, no, and how many. The first outreach call is always made by a real person, and when a reply is unclear the AI goes quiet and flags a human rather than guessing in front of your family.
Our elders will not use an app. Will they be counted?
They are counted the same as everyone else. There is nothing to install and no link to work out — the question arrives on WhatsApp and they reply in their own words, addressed as your family addresses them. A reply typed as a sentence is read and counted, not rejected for being the wrong format.
Is the final number something we can give the caterer?
