The requirements

Specific and checkable. Take this list to any wedding photographer in your city.

  • Able to shoot garba properly — low light, constant motion, hundreds of people, for hours
  • Know the Mameru and Pithi sequences, which are early and easily missed
  • Handle very large extended-family group shots efficiently, without losing an hour

Ask them this

Word for word. The answers tell you more than the portfolio does.

  • “Show me garba footage you have shot, not stills from a sangeet.”
  • “How do you light a garba floor without flattening it with flash?”
