What a wedding planner must get right for a Muslim wedding
Treating the walima as "the reception" and the nikah as a formality. The nikah is the wedding; the walima is the announcement of it.
The requirements
Specific and checkable. Take this list to any wedding planner in your city.
- Run the nikah and the walima as two events with two headcounts, never one
- Build the day around prayer times, including Jummah if a function falls on a Friday
- Know which side is hosting which function — it is often not the same family

Who has confirmed they do this
