What the groom actually arrives on

Horse, vintage car, tractor, boat or helicopter — and the permissions each needs.

What it actually is

The horse remains the default and needs a handler who knows that animal. A vintage car is easier and increasingly common. A tractor reads as deliberate at a farmhouse and as a mistake at a five-star. A helicopter needs DGCA clearance and a licensed landing area, which is weeks of paperwork, not a booking.

Indicative cost

₹8,000 (horse) to ₹3,00,000+ (helicopter)

A range for a Gujarat wedding in the 2026 wedding season, not a quote. It moves with guest count, city and how far out you book. Get three.

When it works

  • The route has been driven at the same time of day, on the same day of the week
  • Police permission is in hand for a road-blocking procession
  • The venue has confirmed where the vehicle or animal can actually stop

The part nobody else prints

How this goes wrong

A baraat is a road obstruction with a band attached. In Ahmedabad and Surat this needs local police intimation, and the failure mode is not a fine — it is the procession being broken up halfway.

Every idea here is easier than telling three hundred people about it.

You can book all of this and still spend the month chasing headcounts. That part is what we do — the invitations, the replies, the rooms, the arrivals, on WhatsApp, with a person making the first call and a person checking every count.
