What it actually is
Fifty to three hundred lit drones flying a choreographed sequence — names, a heart, a countdown. It is quieter than fireworks, produces no smoke, and works at venues where pyrotechnics are refused.

When it works
- Outdoor venues with clear airspace and no airport in the immediate corridor
- A wedding where this is *the* spend rather than one of many
- Booked six to eight weeks out, because permissions take that long
The part nobody else prints
How this goes wrong
India requires DGCA compliance and airspace clearance, and a lot of vendors are vague about whether they hold it. Ask for the paperwork by name. Weather cancels these outright — get the wet-weather clause in writing before you pay a deposit.
Every idea here is easier than telling three hundred people about it.
