One long table of mithai and patisserie, styled as décor rather than as a buffet.
What it actually is
A six-metre table dressed with Indian mithai, European patisserie, fruit and flowers, built to be photographed before it is eaten. It replaces the dessert counter and doubles as a backdrop.

The part nobody else prints
How this goes wrong
It looks perfect for about twenty minutes. Assign someone to restyle it hourly, or the photographs taken after 21:00 show a picked-over table.
Every idea here is easier than telling three hundred people about it.
