What it actually is
A hosted antakshari with a scoreboard, run for twenty-five minutes before the sangeet performances. The competitive framing is what makes it work — an unhosted one dies in four minutes.

When it works
- Before the choreographed performances, while people are still seated
- Mixed-age crowds — this is the one activity that spans all of them
- You have a confident host, ideally a cousin rather than a hired MC

How this goes wrong
It needs a hard stop. Twenty-five minutes is the ceiling; left running it eats the slot the performances were rehearsed for.
Every idea here is easier than telling three hundred people about it.
