Things for guests to do · 2026 wedding season

The instant-photo guest book

A guest book people actually write in, because there is a photo of them next to it.

What it actually is

An instant camera, a stack of pens and a scrapbook. Guests photograph themselves, stick it in and write next to it. The photograph is the reason it gets filled — a blank book gets forty signatures and no messages.

Indicative cost

₹8,000–20,000 including film

A range for a Gujarat wedding in the 2026 wedding season, not a quote. It moves with guest count, city and how far out you book. Get three.

When it works

  • Placed at the entrance where guests pass on the way in
  • Someone is assigned to prompt people — unattended it half-works
  • Smaller functions; 300 guests is a lot of film

The part nobody else prints

How this goes wrong

Instant film is the cost, not the camera. Budget three shots per twenty guests and buy it in advance — nobody stocks that quantity locally at short notice.

Every idea here is easier than telling three hundred people about it.

You can book all of this and still spend the month chasing headcounts. That part is what we do — the invitations, the replies, the rooms, the arrivals, on WhatsApp, with a person making the first call and a person checking every count.
