Reserved seating with backs near the ceremony, a shaded route from the drop-off, a quiet air-conditioned room to retreat to, early dinner service, and a named person checking on them. None of this costs much and none of it happens by default.

How this goes wrong
Plastic chairs with no backs, no shade on the walk from the gate, and dinner at 22:30. Every wedding does at least one of these and the older guests simply leave early and say nothing.
