What it actually is
A handwritten card in each room on the night of arrival — the next day’s timings, what to wear, and one line that is specific to that guest. The specificity is the whole thing; a photocopied schedule is not this.

When it works
- Guests are in hotels and you have the rooming list
- The couple or the family will genuinely write them — it does not survive delegation
- Written over several evenings rather than the night before
The part nobody else prints
How this goes wrong
Three hundred handwritten notes is roughly eight hours. Start two weeks out or accept doing the last hundred at 2am the night before the mehndi, which is exactly when it stops being a nice idea.
